Im sick and tired of that pretty pop shit and stupid rap assholes. What happend to art and what music is really about- expresing your feelengs and pain. Sadly as you already said this commercial shit of music is going nowhere but I still hope it will die out soon. Us true rock fans are a rare species. I wish I have half the talent Kurt did so I could live out my dream that is identical to yours. Sorry if i wrote some words wrong, im writting from a little country in europe

Actually I'm trying to make it here in Europe with some pop or alternative composing. But nobody cares. Btw, I wouldn't like to sound like Nirvana or have anything similar with them even though I must admit I was influenced by the at the time, well mid-nineties. I also have a Nirvana tattoo on my right shoulder... Who knows? Maybe one day my dreams will come true!

As far as it comes to alternative music i like Radiohead, REM, Moby. I gues they are all alternative bands. Im not a big fan of pop music but I must say Robbie Williams is a good artist, he has a few songs that I like. It is sad how 90% of the time on TV there is hollow and predictible music. When I see how media tries to push some singers in the mainstream it makes me sick. I see how they brag about how pretty some blond Barbie is or how good body some builded up moron has, when they dont even mention anything about music they are making, its shamefull. But what amazes me is how kids will eat up everything if its served properly.

I have said that I hate pop, when I say that I don't mean I hate all pop bands some of them are good to my ears, but the ones that don't make it big off just their music but by girls thinking they are hot and going to their concerts is what I hate.
Disney seems to promote these bands...

You're so right. Fucking Mickey Mouse bands. Every girl is getting off on Justin Timberlake and other assholes. They dont care about the fact that their songs dont mean anithing or the fact that they dont even write their own songs or music. They are just a pretty face that you put on the cover of the album. If you want to see Britney or Paris Hilton just buy a damn Playboy, dont go talking about how they are talented or how their work is great. But kids are growing up with these drag queens, its on them they build their taste. Even if they hear good music, they cant recognise it.
